Terry Hampson is a former Brisbane City Council Councillor and Australian Labor Party (ALP) State Secretary. In February, 2005, he was awarded a life membership of the ALP for his 40 years of contribution to the Party - he became a member in 1961. In 1965 Terry Hampson joined the Bald Hills Branch of the ALP, to eventually hold the position of State Secretary between the years of 1988 and 1991.
